Business Summary

China Hydroelectric is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, the Company is engaged in the operation and development of hydroelectric assets and the generation of hydroelectric power in the People's Republic of China ('PRC'). The Company wholly owns twenty-two operating hydroelectric power projects and has a controlling interest in three additional operating hydroelectric power projects. The Company's operating hydroelectric power projects are located in four provinces in PRC: Zhejiang, Fujian, Yunnan and Sichuan. As of Dec 31 2012, installed capacity at the Company's plants reached 517.8 megawatts.
