Diasorin is specialized in the development, manufacture and distribution of products in the immunochemistry and infectious immunology product groups. These product classes are grouped into a single family called immunodiagnostics. The Company is active in the market for in vitro diagnostics. The Company develops, produces, and markets immunoreagent kits for laboratory in vitro clinical diagnostics based on various technologies. Specifically, there are three primary technologies: RIA (Radio Immuno Assay); ELISA (Enzyme Linked ImmunoSorbent Assay); and CLIA (ChemiLuminescent Immuno Assay). The Company also supplies its customers with equipment that makes it possible to carry out automatic diagnostic investigations.
