Inmarsat is engaged in the provision of global mobile satellite communications services to end-user for use on land, at sea and in the air worldwide. The Company services include voice and broadband data services, which support safety communications; standard office applications; remote telecommunications solutions offering services over the mobile and fixed satellite systems of the global and regional satellite system operators; and customized turnkey remote telecommunications solutions, value-added services, equipment and engineering services. The Company operates two reportable segments: Inmarsat Global and Stratos.
