Marine Harvest is engaged in the farming, processing, sales, and distribution of salmon and trout. The Company has operations in 18 countries and has structured the main part of the business in 5 business units; the farming operations Marine Harvest Norway, Marine Harvest Chile, Marine Harvest Canada and Marine Harvest Scotland, and the value added processing operations in Marine Harvest VAP Europe, mainly operating in central Europe. In addition to the business units, the Company has a number of operations which individually are smaller, and are operated as separate businesses.
