Business Summary

Tomra Systems is engaged in designing and operating cost-effective systems for recovering packaging for reuse and recycling. These systems consist of a range of products and services which complement the Company's principal product group, reverse vending machines, which are designed to collect and correctly identify empty beverage containers, and to issue an appropriate refund (either a refund receipt or cash). In some markets, the Company also designs and operates complete recycling centers, providing a service for the recovery of used beverage containers and other recyclable materials. The Company's customers, retailers and beverage producers, are located in Europe and North America.
